Rating on the thermocontrol heaters is based on heating the aquarium with in 5°C of the ambient room temperature. If you room fluctuates more than the 5°C of the set temperature of the heater, it is suggested to use a higher wattage heater.

It can be set to a precise temp between 18°& 34°C and readjusted if required. The Eheim thermocontrol aquarium heater will maintain a very a constant and precise temperature in your aquarium.

The heater can be fully immersed, is protected against running dry and is suitable for fresh or marine water. The glass jacket enlarges the heating surface and ensures optimum even heat transfer. This means that a smaller wattage than other brands will heat the same volume of water.
