The Edelrid Caddy II is an ingenious new rope bag designed to simplify your time at the crag. The rope resides in a flexible cylinder in the middle of the tarp to prevent knots and tangles. When you are done, simply lift the tarp at the four, tie-in corner loops and the rope will slide straight back into the cylinder. For ease of carrying the Caddy II is equipped with padded shoulder straps. From the approach to moving between routes, the Caddy II simplifies our rope carry. Once at the wall, we unhook and uncinch the top to unfurl the tarp and rope. When we're ready to move on to the next line, we simply grab each tie-in point for a simple transfer.
